We urge all to please complete this as soon as you can. The 07/27/23 meeting did come up with nominees but I believe the process still needs to go thru EPA and the questionnaire is part of the process and will help EPA move forward. There was a discussion of an interim group for the Community Representation but it is still open to be inclusive to others who were not able to attend and represent the entire community and not just a specific group alone. There was no vote taken, just names submitted.

A plan was suggested that would provide a seat for an interested group (that I assume they have to vote among themselves) at the Community Representation Initiative so as to allow others to also have a seat and provide their input.

From the Website

Membership

Community Representation Initiative membership will include ten representatives meeting with government agencies approximately once a month through the closure of the facility. The group will review Red Hill information and provide input on decisions related to closure, defueling, and assuring safe drinking water. This requirement was added to the 2023 Consent Order in response to public comments.

Submit online at www.epa.gov/red-hill/cri

Below is the questionnaire from the website. It was said it can also be mailed and there was a mention of a drop off box at the middle school but this was not clear and the safest way is to do this online.

Thanks
